Institutional responsibility

Why MAAA leads implementation.

Administrative and financial responsibility

MAAA is the applicant entity and holds full responsibility for the administrative and financial implementation of the project. Financial procedures are based on documented internal controls, expenditure tracking and periodic review of all project-related costs in accordance with the approved budget. All expenditures will be supported by invoices, receipts, contracts or equivalent accounting documentation.

Cultural responsibility

MAAA leads cultural execution: artist relationships, partnerships with educators and local communities, public programming and the preservation of materials produced during the project. This responsibility builds on the museum's existing trajectory and its established relationships in the central-western region.

Reporting and accountability

MAAA will ensure that all UNESCO reporting requirements are met and that supporting financial documentation is maintained in an organized and auditable manner throughout the implementation period — including descriptive, analytical and financial reports as required by the IFCD framework.
